Indian Nettle

Indian Nettle, also known as Urtica dioica or Stinging Nettle, is a plant commonly found in various regions, including India. It is a well-known medicinal herb in traditional Ayurvedic medicine and other folk healing systems. The plant gets its name from the fine, stinging hairs on its leaves and stems, which can cause a temporary, itchy rash upon contact. However, when processed or used appropriately, Indian Nettle offers a wealth of health benefits.

The plant’s leaves, roots, and stems are used for different medicinal purposes, often in the form of tea, powders, or capsules.

ประโยชน์ของส่วนประกอบ

Anti-Inflammatory & Joint Health

Indian Nettle is rich in compounds that have strong anti-inflammatory properties. It's commonly used to help relieve symptoms of arthritis and other joint conditions by reducing inflammation and alleviating pain. Some studies suggest that it may reduce the use of NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) in people with osteoarthritis.

Supports Urinary Health

Nettle has a long history of use in improving urinary function, particularly in men. It may help reduce symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition where the prostate enlarges and affects urination. Additionally, it can help flush toxins and reduce water retention from the body.

Rich in Nutrients & Immune Support

Indian Nettle is packed with vitamins (A, C, K), minerals (iron, magnesium, calcium), and antioxidants, which help boost immunity and support overall health. It’s particularly beneficial in treating iron deficiency and anemia due to its high iron content.
